Scientific Questions Being Studied
The purpose of this workspace is to demonstrate how to start and complete a project in SAS Studio in the Researcher workbench. This workspace demonstrates 5 critical steps in data analysis for public health researchers:
1- Data collection
2 - Data wrangling
3 - Demographics summary (categorical and continuous variables)
4 - Association tests between the response variable and independent variables.
5 -Regression modeling and results

This workspace will use Diabetes as the study cases. We will use demographics data, physical measurements and certain survey answers as covariates.
We will demonstrates 5 critical steps in data analysis for public health researchers:
1- Data collection
2 - Data wrangling
3 - Demographics summary (categorical and continuous variables)
4 - Association tests between the response variable and independent variables.
5 -Regression modeling and results
Anticipated Findings
Statistically significant association between higher BMIs, age, family history of diabetes and certain demographics with the likelihood of being diagnosed with diabetes.
